The relentless pace had hollowed me out, leaving a quiet ache of disconnection I couldn't name. I was running on empty, my creativity was gone, and my spirit felt… gray. I was convinced this was just the price of admission to modern life.
A Glimmer of Hope
During a particularly draining week, a friend pressed a small, milky-white stone into my hand. “Selenite,” she said. “Just keep it on your desk.” Skeptical but exhausted, I placed it by my computer. In the chaotic hum of my office, I’d find my eyes drawn to its soft, lunar glow.
